Coolshiftknobs is a small business focusing on the production and sales of gear shift knobs.
Our journey began in 2018
Coolshiftknobs was born from a simple idea: driving should be an experience, not just a commute. It started in a small garage, fueled by a love for cars and a desire to make every drive more engaging. Our founder, Darren, a lifelong car enthusiast, was frustrated with the lack of personality in stock shift knobs. They were bland, uninspiring, and did little to enhance the driving experience.
Determined to change that, Darren set out to create shift knobs that were not only functional but also reflected the driver’s unique style. Early experiments with different materials, designs, and weightings led to the first Coolshiftknobs prototypes – unique, eye-catching, and designed to improve the feel of every shift.
Word spread quickly. Fellow car enthusiasts loved the quality, the craftsmanship, and the way Coolshiftknobs transformed their driving experience. What began as a passion project soon grew into a thriving online store.
